Abstract
A 5-month-old intact male boxer dog was presented to the Metro Animal Emergency Clinic, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia after being hit by a car. Radiography identified a diaphragmatic hernia with the stomach herniated into the thoracic cavity. Diaphragmatic herniorrhaphy and splenectomy were performed without complication. The patient returned to his regular active lifestyle.Entities:
