Abstract
123I-MIBG accumulation in focal nodular hyperplasia was demonstrated. A 16-year-old girl who received radiotherapy for neuroblastoma at the age of 5 presented for abdominal pain. Three MIBG-avid tumors within the liver were proven to be focal nodular hyperplasias through biopsy. Previous neuroblastoma was transformed to non-MIBG-avid ganglioneuroma. MIBG accumulation does not necessarily indicate the presence of neuroendocrine tumor.Entities:
