Abstract
T follicular helper cells (Tfh) are required to generate long-lived antibody responses, which confer long-term protection to pathogens following vaccination or infection. Despite significant advances in the field, however, little is known about the early steps that drive Tfh cell differentiation. In this review, we will discuss the mechanisms by which dendritic cells promote the initial commitment of activated CD4(+) T cells to the Tfh cell differentiation pathway.Entities:
