Abstract
Specific proteins are present in mitochondria that are capable of forming complexes with nuclear RNA. Complex formation is time and temperature dependent and requires optimal conditions of Mg2+, K+ and H+ concentrations. The complexes are stable towards most denaturing agents and their component nucleic acids and proteins are resistant to nucleolysis and proteolysis respectively.Entities:
