Sir,Went through article “idiopathic generalized epilepsy: Phenotypic and electroencephalographic observations in a large cohort from South India” published in your journal.[1] The study was quite informative and I congratulate the authors on this. However, a small concern remains. As the title suggests the study was in the cohort design, but as we go through the material and methods of this study, the authors write “this prospective cross-sectional hospital based study was carried out on non-consecutive recruitment of 287 patients,” which is confusing. To my mind, this study is a cohort study wherein the participants enter a study at different times, more or less like a survival analysis framework.
