Abstract
Drug-induced liver injury is a potential complication of innumerable medications. Most cases do not occur in a predictable, dose-dependent manner, leading to delayed recognition of a drug's hepatotoxic potential until after its release into the market. The estimated occurrence is 1 in 10,000 to 100,000 patients. However, the rates are likely higher because many cases go unrecognized owing to lack of reporting or missed diagnosis. This article reviews the most commonly associated antiepileptic drugs.Entities:
