Abstract
We present the case of an isolated inferior oblique muscle paresis from ventral midbrain infarction involving the oculomotor fascicular fibers. Based on this case and a review of the literature, the anatomic organization of the oculomotor nerve fascicles and of the pupillary fibers in the ventral midbrain tegmentum is proposed.Entities:
