Constrictive amniotic bands: a case report.

Abstract

Constrictive amniotic bands are circular depressions of the soft tissue of the digits, limbs, chest, abdomen, face, or scalp. A newborn with a constrictive amniotic band of the lower limb is presented. The pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, and treatment are discussed.
