Abstract
We report an extraosseous chondroma (EC) presenting as a painless midline neck mass in a healthy 3-year-old boy. EC is a benign tumor of the soft tissues; malignant degeneration has not been observed and recurrence is unusual (5%-18%). The treatment of choice is local excision. With this report, EC can be included and considered in the assessment of any firm, smooth subcutaneous mass.Entities:
