Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To present a structured approach for an outpatient consultation of a child with recurrent mouth ulcers. METHOD: Review of literature and description of approach followed in our unit. CONCLUSIONS: The literature emphasises the need to consider local and systemic causes for oral ulceration in a child.
