Abstract
A rapid fluorimetric procedure for the determination of the fungicide 5-fluorocytosine in serum is described. The method is high in precision (S.D. 1.6 mug/ml at 50 mug/ml) and specificity and can be performed in 60-90 minutes. The results obtained for samples from six patients showed excellent agreement with those obtained by traditional microbiological methods.Entities:
