Abstract
A 76-year-old female presented at University hospital of Crete with a large painless mass (d<10 cm) of the left maxilla. The cytologic diagnosis in FNAB smears was of a diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of the maxilla that was confirmed histologically. The fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) in conjunction with immunocytochemistry can distinguish between benign and malignant lymphoid infiltrates and support a diagnosis of extra-nodal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.Entities:
