Abstract
Melanoma is increasing in incidence. An often-unsuspected complication is metastasis to the gastrointestinal tract, which leads to bowel obstruction or intussusception. The most common symptoms in patients with gastrointestinal metastasis are vomiting, abdominal pain and abdominal distention. Metastatic disease should be suspected in any patient with gastrointestinal symptoms and a history of cutaneous melanoma.Entities:
