Abstract
Two cases of primary squamous cell carcinomas of the endometrium (PSCCE) are reported, and both were postmenopausal and presented with vaginal bleeding. Histologically, the endometrial curetting revealed extensive squamous metaplastic papillae with vacuolated cytoplasms. Numerous keratin debris were present in the superficial epithelium with neutrophils infiltration. Atypia existed in the basal and parabasal-layer cells. It can be regarded as precancerous lesion when postmenopausal woman's endometrial curetting show extensive squamous papillae.Entities:
