Abstract
Following intravenous (IV) administration, the pharmacokinetics of spectinomycin in rats was found to be on par with its profile in other mammalian species including humans with respect to its overall excretion and half-life at effective concentrations. This study, however, indicates that a small fraction of the spectinomycin dose is retained in peripheral tissues for a prolonged period of time at low concentrations.Entities:
