Abstract
A patient with advanced multiple sclerosis was successfully managed for a sigmoid colectomy using spinal anaesthesia. Effective postoperative analgesia was achieved with intrathecal diamorphine administered through an indwelling intrathecal catheter, and wound infiltration with 0.25% bupivacaine.Entities:
