Abstract
The pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating peptide (PACAP) and its receptor (PAC1) are involved in stress response and anxiety. Genotypes for PACAP/PAC1 were examined for effects on treatment response to venlafaxine XR in generalized anxiety disorder. The Asp54Gly (rs2856966) variant in the PACAP gene was associated with better treatment outcome.Entities:
