Abstract
The shrub Senna birostris var. arequipensis (Fabaceae) is recorded as the first host plant for the little known butterfly Teriocolias zelia andina Forbes (Lepidoptera: Pieridae) in the occidental slopes of the Andes, northernmost Chile. Observations on egg-laying and larva-feeding behavior suggest that this butterfly is host specific.Entities:
