Abstract
For religious reasons, Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs can refuse treatment with a drug of animal origin. However, the origin is not always explicit and it is impossible to obtain the relevant information in a clinical situation. The aim of this study was to clarify whether it is possible to obtain information about animal products in medicines and thereby determine if it is possible for physicians to obtain informed consent from patients.Entities:
