Abstract
Pilonidal sinus disease is a painful disorder of the natal cleft between the buttocks. Primary treatment is by surgery but there is a high recurrence rate. Laser hair removal reduces the rate of recurrence by diminishing the number and thickness of hairs. It should be recommended along with personal hygiene measures for patients to reduce short-term and long-term recurrence of the condition.Entities:
