Abstract
Primary carcinoma of gall bladder is a highly aggressive malignancy, most often detected in late stage in majority of the affected patients. It commonly spreads to the adjacent liver parenchyma and, via lymphatics, to mesenteric nodes. Extra-abdominal metastatic sites are extremely rare, with lung being the commonest site. We report a rare occurrence of isolated asymptomatic bone marrow metastases from gall bladder cancer, in the absence of locoregional adenopathy, detected on whole-body F-FDG PET/CT at initial staging.Entities:
