Abstract
We report the case of a patient affected by contralateral hemiplegia during herpes zoster ophthalmicus (HZO) evaluated both with serial CT scans and with MRI. We suggest that MRI examination of patients affected by HZO could be useful for the detection of early signs of cerebral arterial damage which are not yet clinically and radiologically apparent.Entities:
