Increased risk of suicidal ideation in Korean adults with both diabetes and depression.

Abstract

We investigated the association between suicidal ideation and diabetes in Korean adults with and without depression. Diabetes is a significant risk factor for suicidal ideation and the coexistence of diabetes and depression was associated with a much higher risk of suicidal ideation than with diabetes alone.
