Abstract
BACKGROUND: The Taiwan CDC provided free oseltamivir to all patients with influenza infections confirmed by rapid testing or who had clinical warning symptoms during the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic in Taiwan. Influenza with complications: influenza danger signs defined by WHO (including symptoms and signs suggesting oxygen impairment, cardiopulmonary insufficiency or central nervous system complications such as shortness of breath, tachypnea, altered mental status etc.).
