Abstract
Hand burn is a frequent accident in young children. Burn care must take into account child growth and healing should be obtained before the 15th day to prevent any retraction. There is no consensus about treatment but one should consider several criteria, such as burn depth, etiology, localization and hand growth. It is mandatory to position the hand in skin maximal capacity position as soon as cleansing to limit sequelae. Regular visits are necessary up to the end of growth, to allow operating on the child in case functional sequelae appear.Entities:
