Abstract
We performed transposed brachiobasilic arteriovenous fistula (TBBAVF) in 24 patients from January 2006 to August 2010. The operative time was 90-210 minutes (mean: 136 minutes). All patients had edema of an upper extremity and 2 patients had wound complications. Major complications were not seen. The primary patency rates at one and two years were 89.7% and 69.0%, respectively. The secondary patency rates at one and two years were 95.7% and 73.6%, respectively. TBBAVF has good primary and secondary patency rates with few severe complications. (English Translation of Jpn J Phlebology 2011; 22: 33-38.).Entities:
