Abstract
Giant, cell-sized polymersomes are functionalized and patterned at the single vesicle level. Microfluidic methods are employed to generate uniform diameter vesicles with high loading efficiencies and microcontact printing is used to generate patterns of adhesive ligand. A simple sensory capability is demonstrated with the immobilized array of vesicles.Keywords: biosensors; double emulsions; microarrays; patterning; polymersomes
