Abstract
We report two cases of opacified explanted intraocular lenses (IOL).The first lens was explanted from a cataract patient, then treated in vitro with trypsin/ethylene-diamine-tetra-acetic acid. The second hydrophilic acrylic IOL was explanted from a patient who had undergone sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) gas endotamponade surgery to repair a retinal detachment.Entities:
