Predicting outcome by images?

Features from CT, MRI, and PET scans are related to survival of patients with non-small cell lung carcinoma. Individualized image-based tissue characterization allows a whole body view of all tumor deposits and organs at risk. The time is ripe to embark on huge international studies aiming to validate and implement this technology in clinical practice. ©2013 AACR.
