Abstract
This report presents the case of a 78-year-old man affected by retroperitoneal tumor arising from the lower segment of the inferior vena cava. The patient underwent excision of the tumor and resection of the vena cava. Postoperative histopathologic examination revealed the diagnosis of leiomyosarcoma of the inferior vena cava, a rare tumor of mesenchymal origin.Entities:
