Abstract

We report our results of treatment of pigmentary retinal abiotrophy with a drug known in the Soviet Union as Encad. Repeated courses of treatment twice a year for four to 14 years stabilized the pathologic process in more than 60% of 467 treated patients. We provide details of the treatment and specific indications and contraindications.
