Abstract
Our objective is to report an interesting case of a patient with known severe vertebrobasilar disease who presented with isolated bilateral middle cerebellar peduncle (MCP) infarction. Isolated infarction of the MCP is uncommon, occurring in roughly 0.12% of acute strokes. Isolated bilateral MCP infarction is extremely rare and has been described in only a few cases in the literature. The MCP is a watershed zone between the anterior inferior cerebellar artery and the superior cerebellar artery and its occurrence suggests hypoperfusion.Entities:
