Abstract
The study through Monte Carlo simulation of β-lactam pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic target attainment and determination of subsequent serum concentrations of piperacillin-tazobactam administered through continuous infusion to children treated for fever and neutropenia shows that 400 mg/kg/day has the highest probability of target attainment against Pseudomonas aeurginosa in our oncology ward compared with the standard regimen of 300 mg/kg/day.Entities:
