Effects of mycotoxins on the immune system - is there a single comprehensive test parameter?

H Köhler1, G Müller.

Abstract

There is no single comprehensive parameter for the identification of immunotoxic effects of mycotoxins, since immunological processes are very complex. Different aspects of the immune response have to be studied to detect the characteristic actions of mycotoxins and to identify the most sensitive immune functions.
