Abstract
Thione-to-thiol rearrangements represent a general route for the synthesis of sulfur compoundsfrom hydroxyl functionalities. In particular, the Miyazaki-Newman-Kwart rearrangementhas been widely used for the synthesis of aromatic thiols from the corresponding phenols.Entities:
