Experience, education, and nurses' ability to make clinical judgments.

D J del Bueno.

Abstract

Del Bueno makes us think anew about some old assumptions concerning the relationship of experience, education, and clinical judgment. In spite of our prejudices in one direction or another, del Bueno's study shows more within-group differences than between-group differences. Additionally, the author shows the potential for use of video simulation in making judgments about clinical decision making.
