Abstract
A 56 year old patient who developed acute pancreatitis following intrabiliary rupture of a hydatic cyst of the liver is reported herein. Hepatic hydatic disease is a very rare cause of acute pancreatitis for which the surgical treatment consists of evacuation of the cyst material and biliary drainage. Cystoenteric drainage is not mandatory.Entities:
