Stress factors related to antenatal testing during high-risk pregnancy.

N S Hoffman1.

Abstract

Antenatal testing brings with it emotional stress as well as the ability to diagnose abnormalities. Care of the pregnant patient must include identifying stressors and designing strategies to reduce them. These interventions will make procedures as easy as possible for the antenatal patient and staff.
