Abstract
Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) provides an effective, less-invasive alternative treatment for patients with symptomatic severe aortic stenosis at high surgical risk. Echocardiography plays a central role in patient selection, procedural guidance, and evaluation, and in the detection of complications. This review describes the peri-interventional role of echocardiography during TAVI, outlines current limitations, and identifies future implications.Entities:
