Abstract
Diabetic nephropathy is becoming increasingly common with the aging of our population and the obesity epidemic. The major ways to prevent or slow its progression are by reducing blood pressure, controlling blood sugar, and inhibiting the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone axis.
