Abstract
Organophosphate insecticides are the potent inhibitors of the acetylcholinesterase enzyme which lead to an increased acetylcholine activity, which are responsible for symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhoea, vomiting and hypersalivation. We are reporting on a young male with acute organophosphate poisoning, who presented with unusual complications like toxic pancreatitis with an intraabdominal abscess.Entities:
