Abstract
We report a female patient, with obstructed right femoral and right brachiocephalic vein, narrowed left femoral vein, left brachiocephalic vein and superior vena cava, due to long-term catheterization for dialysis. Angioplasty and synthesized graft transplant were successfully performed. The new access withstood early cannulation only 3 days after the procedure. Angioplasty can ameliorate existing stenosis and enable permanent access creation, while an artificial graft may provide faster maturation than documented.Entities:
