Abstract
Neglect is a common neuropsychological disorder after right hemisphere stroke. Neglect worsens the prognosis of functional recovery but responds well to targeted neuropsychological rehabilitation. Several methods for rehabilitation have been developed and research to-date lends best support to visual scanning training, prism adaptation, limb activation and feedback training. Core features of effective neglect rehabilitation include early initiation, daily held sessions at acute and subacute stages, increasing awareness of deficit and considering the psychosocial status of the patient as well as that of the family.Entities:
