Abstract
Multifunctional thiols were synthesized by the selective reaction of chlorosilanes with mercaptoalcohols. Reaction of the mercaptoalcohols through the thiol group was not observed. Utilizing this method, thiols of varying structural diversity were prepared.Entities:
