Abstract
Four cases of alimentary tract lipomas are described. While conventional radiology is unable to differentiate these tumours from the much commoner carcinomas, computed tomography and endoscopic examination may allow a definitive diagnosis thus sparing the patient major surgery. In selected cases endoscopic polypectomy is feasible and safe.Entities:
