Abstract
A 75-year-old man was admitted to our hospital because of swelling of the face and neck 6 months after implantation of a two-chamber pacemaker. Digital subtraction angiography showed total occlusion of the superior vena cava vein and well-developed collateral channels. After thrombolytic therapy, facial swelling disappeared. Digital subtraction angiography performed after thrombolytic therapy revealed a recanalization of the superior vena cava.Entities:
