Abstract
Cellulitis caused by Diplococcus pneumoniae was diagnosed in two heroin users. To our knowledge, this medical emergency, clinically indistinguishable from deep fasciitis of pyomyositis, has not previously been reported as having been caused by the agent identified in these two patients.Entities:
