Anterior nasal collapse: flaccid or rigid? An approach to clinical diagnosis.

N Fanous1.

Abstract

Nasal obstruction secondary to anterior nasal collapse is a most frustrating and confusing problem with no clear guidelines for diagnosis. A clinical classification of the collapse of the anterior nasal cavity is suggested. Surgical management is only briefly discussed. The aim of this paper is to simplify the clinical diagnosis and classification of this complex entity.
