Abstract
The anterolateral thigh flap has been used to reconstruct defects of lower trunk, perineum and upper thigh. We used a proximally based pedicled anterolateral thigh flap to repair an extensive gluteal defect ranging from the greater trochanter to the posterior midline and preserve the buttock contour. We conclude that the maximal lateral reach of the flap can extend to the posterior midline.Entities:
