Abstract
Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) is an increasingly used treatment modality in adults, but its use and effectiveness in pediatric brain tumors is still uncertain. We describe 3 patients with metastatic relapse of medulloblastoma, who were treated with SRS, and achieved prolonged, progression-free survival. Tolerability of the treatment was excellent with no adverse effects reported. This work adds to the growing evidence that SRS may have an important role to play in the treatment of pediatric brain tumors.Entities:
